About the Role
Equipment East is seeking a driven and customer-focused sales representative to grow construction equipment sales and rentals within New Hampshire territories. You will manage existing accounts, develop new business, and represent leading brands including Develon, Yanmar, and ASV. Success is measured by overall sales revenue. Typical hours are 7 - 5 Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed annual sales and profit goals
- Grow market share across assigned product lines
- Prospect and develop new customer relationships within the territory
- Maintain accurate CRM activity after each customer interaction
- Complete required product and sales training
- Manage territory expenses
- Process all paperwork in a timely manner including demos and orders
- Provide accurate trade appraisal information
- Work closely with customers to ensure smooth deal completion
- Assist with RFQ and RFP opportunities
- Perform regular cold calls and jobsite visits
- Represent the company with a professional and positive image
Required Experience
- Direct sales experience with active cold calling
- Construction equipment or construction field experience preferred
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Organized and self-motivated with effective pre-call planning
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships
- Strong customer service and support ability
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, smart phones, and CRM systems
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical training in a related field preferred
License
Valid driver license with a clean driving record required
Compensation
$65,000 base salary plus commission once minimum quotas are met

Diesel Mechanic Technician
Construction Equipment - Excavators/Loaders
Compensation: DOE
Location: Dracut, MA
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Heavy Equipment Technician, troubleshoots and performs repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment, compact heavy equipment, light service equipment, and Diesel engines. Typical repairs include, but are not limited to, preventative maintenance inspections, hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brakes, suspension, electrical, HVAC, and emission systems.
Company paid face to face and online training by manufacturers’ is essential and will be provided.
Requirements
- Maintains advanced knowledge to diagnose and repair mechanical problems on heavy and compact equipment and related items such as pumps, generators, compactors, etc.
- Performs repair or preventative maintenance on electrical, diesel including rollers, excavators, wheel loaders, rock trucks, and other vehicles in dealer or customer fleet, to maximize safe and productive operations.
- Typical diagnostic repairs and maintenance would include work on engines, transmissions, chassis, driveline, and body components; hydraulic, air brake systems, electrical suspension systems and HVAC.
- Reads and interprets equipment condition reports and/or repair orders, communicates with supervisor for clarification of defects and discuss preventive techniques.
- Accurately completes work orders associated with diagnosis and repairing equipment for customers or dealer fleet.
- Identifies the source of malfunctions using a variety of electronic tools.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
- Prior experience with, or knowledge of, maintenance work to be performed on heavy, light and compact equipment.
- Commercial Driver's License is a plus but not required.
- Valid Driver's License.

Qualifications for Service Technician - Mechanic:
- Knowledge and operation of construction equipment would be beneficial
- Diesel engine experience would be considered an asset
- Must possess own tools
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- A friendly disposition and a safety-first attitude
- Must possess a team orientated spirit
- Must have a good driving record
- Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 7 days)
Responsibilities for Service Technician – Mechanic includes but not limited to:
- Repairing and maintaining vehicles and equipment with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and diesel equipment
- Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis
Parts and Warehouse Specialist
PARTS AND WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST
Job location: 1474 NH-3A, Bow, NH 03304
Hours: 7:00 – 5:00
Pay range: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answering calls to the Parts Dept
Assisting with walk in customers
Assisting customers with ordering parts
Pull parts to fill orders
Assist with all Parts Department needs
Responsible for Parts shipping and receiving; must have attention to detail
Inventory control management; must be concise and accurate
Pick and put parts in proper location
Check in all parts and stock parts in the warehouse
Pull parts for customers and Service Department and bill out properly
Ship parts out to customers as needed
Check the showroom daily and make sure it is fully stocked
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and showroom
*Other duties as needed or as assigned
EXPERIENCED PARTS AND WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have at least 2 years’ parts experience
Responsible, reliable & dedicated
Computer literate; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Highly organized & detail oriented
Must be able to accurately convey issues with items not received or damaged in transit
Hard working
Willing and capable of studying and learning our software and manufacturers' products
Willing to learn all roles in the department
In possession of a valid drivers' license
Knowledgeable about heavy equipment (preferred, but not required)
Ability to make hydraulic hoses (preferred, but not required)
Ability to operate a forklift (preferred, but not required)

Low Bed Driver
Job location: 196 Manley Street Brockton, MA 02301
Equipment East is hiring EXPERIENCED equipment lowbed drivers. Must be able to load and unload various pieces of equipment including light equipment, compact equipment, large excavators, attachments. 3-5 years’ experience is a must.
Requirements are as follows:
A current CDL-A license.
A valid DOT medical card.
A current and clean driving record, required.
Must be able to pass a federal drug, alcohol test on date of hire and random testing as well as a physical assessment test.
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess a positive attitude.
Must be able to work a day shift that includes early morning starts & some late night finishes
Must have truck driving experience
Must have Lowbed/Landoll experience
Must be able map out route and be aware of truck and equipment safety and permits required
